Our Happiest Baby App is growing up! Through the years, we have added so many features parents love, like our iconic SNOO sleep log, regular baby tips from Dr. Karp, and super-helpful settings like: Level Lock (keeps SNOO fixed on a single level all night), Motion Limiter (for babies or parents who prefer less jiggling), Volume Settings (set shushing stronger or softer), Weaning (gets your baby ready for a no-cry graduation to the crib), and much more!

We have also recently added a number of extra tools to sharpen your skills and make parenting more fun, such as new articles (with the surprising infant and toddler ideas that made Dr. Karp a household hero). And families can now track feedings (breast, bottle, solids), diaper changes, and total sleep—including all those naps in the stroller, car, etc.—so you can easily share the info with your family and doctor. Plus, we introduced support for Apple Watch and Alexa.

Our dream is to help all families get the support of a SNOO…for free! Every day we’re working hard to make that dream a reality.

As you can imagine, bringing a new technology to hundreds of thousands of families is not easy. It requires a lot of effort—and cost—to conduct breakthrough scientific research, build innovative products, and persuade the government and insurance companies to adopt and fund new programs.

Happiest Baby’s small, but mighty, team works around the clock to support SNOO parents! Our dedicated engineers, customer care agents, sleep consultants, scientists, and medical liaisons support all SNOO parents—even those who bought secondhand SNOOs from a stranger or received it from a friend. Regardless, we’ve given free support and services to all.

However, the massive resale market has put a lot of burden on our company. For context, over the past 8 years, many SNOOs have been shared or resold, with many having changed hands up to 10 times. Tens of thousands of these secondhand users have reached out to us for help—with pairing SNOO to a new network, providing sleep consultations, providing product and tech support—and for assistance with many other issues. Plus, we run the SNOO network for these secondhand users, collecting, storing, processing, and presenting the information to support them. And millions of families visit our website to take advantage of our free infant and toddler tips and insights.

To allow us to continue providing this valuable support, starting 15 July 2024, SNOO users who did not purchase the bed from Happiest Baby (or an authorised partner) will be charged a subscription fee to access the Premium App settings and features. (All families using secondhand SNOOs will still be get access to free Happiest Baby App features.)

Rest assured, we will continue providing our premium features and settings to original owners who bought SNOO directly from Happiest Baby (or an authorised partner). Everyone who buys a SNOO from Happiest Baby or our authorised partners after 15 July, will receive a free subscription to the premium features and settings on their Happiest Baby App for 9 months.

Those who are not the original owners (who borrowed or bought SNOO secondhand) will continue to have access to free App features—and they will be able to use the premium features for a monthly fee, beginning 15 July, 2024.

We feel deeply privileged to have helped so many parents get extra sleep and peace of mind and to have helped so many babies stay safer and well rested. Whichever App usage you decide on, we cannot thank you enough for trusting SNOO with your precious baby. We’re honored to be a part of your parenting village!

Disclaimer: The information on our site is NOT medical advice for any specific person or condition. It is only meant as general information. If you have any medical questions and concerns about your child or yourself, please contact your health provider. Breastmilk is the best source of nutrition for babies. It is important that, in preparation for and during breastfeeding, mothers eat a healthy, balanced diet. Combined breast- and bottle-feeding in the first weeks of life may reduce the supply of a mother's breastmilk and reversing the decision not to breastfeed is difficult. If you do decide to use infant formula, you should follow instructions carefully.
